Grannygravy you are very lucky indeed. You better not say where you ve or you may be invaded! Muffin, I do feel for your husband. I know other GPs feel the same. And we never insist on a particular Doctor. I think more doctors will leave the NHS and it will get worse. (What annoys me too; we paid our NI contributions all our lives and are not getting what we paid for. Young people blame us for the crisis but we have already paid. sorry - off the subject a bit.) The good news is we rang the surgery and were seen today but if it had not been considered important we would have had to do the lottery next month again. Thanks for all helpful comments. My husband was there because his cataract is much worse and he will probably have to pay as the waiting list is so long. A change of practice wouldn't help. They're all in difficulties here..and no government!
Someone needs to go back to Junior School himself.
