Will try not to go on in depressing mode, but it’s actually more than sad. It’s like walking without one leg (OK I know that’s called hopping ) or trying to cope with all your usual activities with only one arm, just that constant nagging pain. Plus “survivor guilt” that losing him has made all these trips possible 
Anyway, enough already.

Sorry your lovely day ended in tears Maw , its early days and if crying is how you feel then you should cry - but I imagine Paw sitting up there shaking his head. Its not how he wants you to feel and maybe time will help you remember the good memories without being so sad. Sending you a hug xx

Garden centre visit today ! Grampy treated me to some containers that hang on the fence and we need something trailing to go in them. Because our holiday got in the way , we're struggling plant wise and we missed the first flurry of bedding plants so I'm hoping the garden centre comes up trumps.
Got a picture of the little boys this morning , their pre school and school have gone green for Grenfell today so thought I would share.

Oh Kitcheners, I have had such a nice day, walked Hattie up to the churchyard like I do most days to tell Paw what I have been doing. But now just can’t stop the tears.
When oh when does it (ever) stop hurting?
A certain respected Kitchener and I had a lovely day in Manchester today. A quick bite at the Royal Exchange where we saw Maxine Peake in Happy Days- an amazing performance in a very thought provoking and gripping play.
I am glad to say that DD’s set was very effective and has had good reviews in its own right!
Anyway a little wander round followed then a pizza and a glass of to continue the chatting before heading back to our respective trains at Piccadilly.

Afternoon all. Firstly, I’m delighted to hear about your lunch charley, nagging is on hold. Sounds as if a huge corner has been turned.
Well, the NT property won over the shops and was blessedly sheltered from the wind. I’ll attach a couple of flower photos if I can. I’m trying not to see the decapitated roses in our garden, still blowing here, supposed to calm down overnight.
Sounds as if you’ve done your homework panache, fingers will be firmly crossed here for your viewing on Saturday.
Sounds an exciting day ahead on Sunday n&g, not sure how you get the food shop past Grampy though. Mr C will be with both of ours on Sunday, the first time he’s been with them both on Fathers Day for over 10 years, he’s delighted.
I don’t like Turkish Delight soop, so they were found in the right fridge, would have found their way to the bin here as neither of us are keen. Sacrilege I hear you say.

Right, need to clear away before this weeks food delivery arrives. I’m not a bit sure what we do with all the food, you’d think we were feeding the whole street.

Have been well acquainted with the McCarthy & Stone Apartment Complexes by the way,almost purchasing one some time ago in a delightful spot here on our coast.............so I was aware of the pros and cons to some degree prior to reading all the accounts of your testing.
However one can never be too careful and it is vital to have this feedback.............so gee thanks.
The sun has his hat on,(I hear a jingle coming on!............) and wearing it in a very jaunty angle!!! ..........summer has returned and we are smiling again!!

Good to know that the new mower is tip top. I too have a large heap of ironing to do (my own) and as we'll be out for a few hours tomorrow I expect that I should show willing and use up all those extra calories I've treated myself to today.
The wind is less ferocious than it was earlier today. The sun is shining and the islands have lost the low lying cloud. There may be a suitable sunset to photograph this evening.

kitty I have a friend whose GS is ‘Wolf’. Seems it is acceptable for either sex! Can’t understand why not ‘Vixen’ if female! Seemingly younger folk think it’s ‘so cool’ whereas us more seasoned folk react with ‘Oh’, ‘Really’, ‘How unusual’ . Baby will be loved whatever the name. X

I cannot share with you. Sorry. Just after lunch MacSporran suggested that the choc covered Turkish Delights looked out of place. Without a word of a lie - I tried to resist. Thing is, the temptation has been dealt with in a right and proper way. The fridge has only good, wholesome stuff in it.
