Royal wedding obsession!

WELL "Annie" she is a woman who obviously likes to bend the rules to suit herself.....the changing of her religion to marry him really peed me off...she could have kept the one she had and made the RF more inclusive that way..but no every royal must tread the same path and alienate all other religious views in the UK .Its very old fashioned for a bride to take her grooms religion,hardly a modern woman as she's claiming to be

I'm NOT watching but I have had an e-mail from a friend telling me Harry has been made Earl of Dumbarton...I hope its a windup..but if its not I can tell you someone doesn't like him or hasn't done their homework.Dumbarton is one of the most deprived areas in the west of Scotland ,think massive drug and unemployment figures,large numbers of single parents ,more council tax arrears than Glasgow ...see what I mea..just what we need ..an EARL !!

I like watching weddings, think I will watch with the sound off until the marriage service. I have no wish to hear one more in the crowd say ‘I love Harry’. ‘I am here because I loved Diana’ .

I won't be watching but I wish them well and hope all GNs settling down with the bubbly on ice enjoy it

Well I've cooled the prosecco, prepped the sandwiches (cucumber, smoked salmon and all), iced the elderflower and lemon cake, got out the china and embroidered tablecloth. The roses and stocks bouquet smells gorgeous, lilac to come in at the last minute for the table decoration. DBF arriving at 10 and we're looking forward to a lovely morning. Cheers to all who are watching one or all of the main events. And also of course to those of you busy elsewhere or ostentatiously avoiding the wedding - enjoy your day!

Somehow this is all passing me by as I won’t be in to watch it anyway. DGSs will be IFlying (indoor skydiving) at Milton Keynes instead, a Christmas present from us.
However, I had guessed Sussex as the title the Queen was going to give them!

I have the telly on as well, DanniRae. Have had a very anxious two weeks with a poorly DH who is now home from hospital, the sun is shining, I'm on my second mug of tea and he has promised not to do the moany man thing about the RW

The only downer is we're an alcohol free house at the moment because he's on IV antibiotics so I will have to toast the bride and groom with orange juice and SL tonic and pretend it's Buck's Fizz.
