My group

Well Colournanny if you want to teach your GD to be jealous and possessive, you’re going the right way about it.

My DGD lives in America, very close to her other grandma who spends a lot of time with her. The other grandma goes out of her way to email me photos, tell me about things they have done, and talk to DGD about me so DGD doesn’t forget me.
The other grandma doesn’t have to do any of this - but in doing all these things she sets DGD an example of great generosity of spirit which I admire and for which I’m very grateful.

I think it is an excellent idea for you all to go to the same group. Even better if you could find opportunities for all 3 of you to go together sometimes.
I am sure the little one would love it.

If you re going on different weeks I personally don’t think it’s snything to get uptight about What if you lived in a village and there was only one play group ?
Good of her to check it out with you I don’t think there should be a problem I doubt the little girl will mind who takes her
Thank your lucky stars you get precious time with your granddaughter and don’t waste it with competitions with the other gran

I understand where you are coming from, but maybe you could think of the benefits to your GD. You know she is happy while there, you know the environment and other people etc. It is good for little ones to have continuity.

I don't think this would faze me in the slightest. I'd be glad to know my GC was in familiar surroundings and enjoying playing with the children she has got to know.

Hi Colournanny, I think it is good of the other granny to ask you, even though she wouldn't need "permission" from you, I'm assuming it is a public group. If it was me, I wouldn't have a problem with it, especially if your GD enjoys the group. I've never understood why people can't share freely, especially as you know it's a nice group, the kind thing would be to extend the pleasure to the other gran.

Suggest that she takes her to a different group so as to get her used to meeting new people?
