Not meaning to be nasty but it's made me feel sick reading this thread, especially the floating toenail!

I’ve had senile warts on my face and had then frozen off. I’ve had two new skin tags this week and I particularly hate the brown patches of skin on my forehead. Apparently they are big freckles according to the skin consultant. I’ve gained a lot of weight in the last year across my tummy. I’m noticeably ageing quicker in the second half of my sixties. On a brighter note, I got my green belt in kickboxing yesterday, halfway to black, which is my ambition to get at 70.

The hairs that grow where none were, especially on face....
or don't grow where they used to!

Don’t get me started, everything goes west when you get pass 60 have a small nodule on my neck ok in the winter because I wear a scarf but summer time it’s to warm to wear a scarf.
Found that interesting about te tree oil and fungus infection had to get some fungal infection liquid from chemist, it’s quite expensive so will give the tee tree oil a go.
Wonder if Joan Collins gets funny bits and bobs. Probably not.

Having developed this thickening of a toe nail and what might very well be some fungi I have read more than once in this thread about the benefits of teatree oil.I would appreciate hearing a little more and how do I go about using this oil?
I have been soaking the foot in a certain Apple cider vinegar,dabbing some teatree oil on afterwards and there has been some success but progress now seems halted only half way through.
With summer, hopefully fast approaching, and perhaps the wearing of sandals,I urgently need this ugly toe nail to begone!!!

Same age as me, HildaJenni. 2 of my toenails have thickened but the tea tree oil is having an effect (wonderful stuff!) With the little skin tags, if you twizz them round with a fingertip, just a bit every day, they drop off eventually

I've developed senile warts behind both my knees. I wasn't expecting to get them there! I have a constant hiss in my ears (tinnitus), and my toenails have thickened and changed shape.
What has happened, I'm only 66.

Long, thick, wiry, dark hair that suddenly appear from out of the middle of one eyebrow and is growing in the opposite direction to the other hairs.
I woke up to find a skin tag had grown on the end of my nose recently. Don't know which was worse: the witch like warty thing on the end of my nose or the stench of tea tree oil that I used to get rid of it.

Someone on here once wrote that after 60 or so she felt like an old car with the various parts either breaking down or dropping off. .

Chemical changes in the body after Menopause have a lot to answer for, but I don’t miss periods!

I agree with Luckygirl, so many changes that we have to accept gracefully as part and package of being lucky enough to get this far, the alternative doesn't bear thinking about. My biggest bugbear is the fat that's accumalated around my middle! ??Have given up trying to hold it all in!

There is an endless list of little (and not so little!) bodily changes that go with advancing age. We have to accept them with a good grace or end up miserable.

I started noticing raised brown patches in a few places a couple of years ago - sort of like moles, but more irregular. Went to doc, almost convinced I had malignant melanoma. He told me they were sebborhoeic keratosis - also known as senile warts! Another feature of getting older. Not harmful though.

I really have no wish to deflate the spirits of anyone approaching the age of 60 or so................for personally there has been a string of little.........and not so little.....issues and they strike here,there and everywhere on my body.
Always check though `cos one never knows,there could be a REAL problem developing, but as far as my own niggles are concerned, they have mainly been more irritating and truly annoying than anything else.
Hopefully this maybe just a passing phase but please do get them checked if they persist......whatever and wherever they turn up.
Skin nodules again I have found develope almost overnight and in a while have vanished.It must just be down to the body changes.

I had one near my lower eye lashes. I pinched it really hard and no it's not too painful did this once or twice and it shriveled and dropped off after a few days.
You can by something to apply but I don't know how effective it is.

isn’t a rattlesnake around!
If not, give your head a good shake, pinch your nostrils closed and blow hard into a hankie.
