Any ideas on our new little Prince's name? I'm betting on Charles ... or maybe Phillip.

Hasn't been a John for a while.

NotAGran55 Tue 24-Apr-18 19:17:26

Arthur Philip Michael is my guess . Although I would like Albert ( Bertie ) Charles Henry . Certainly not James as it's far too popular .

annsixty Tue 24-Apr-18 18:23:01

I really like Alexander, good choice.
Do you think they will take any notice?

Menopaws Tue 24-Apr-18 18:11:08

Alexander Philip george

threexnanny Tue 24-Apr-18 17:35:10

As he was born on St George's day it's a pity that name has already been used.

Anniebach Tue 24-Apr-18 16:49:41

I don't like Arthur , Bert or Fred

BlueBelle Tue 24-Apr-18 16:45:54

Oh charleygirl I m with you, no disrespect to anyone with dads brothers granddads etc but can’t stand Albert Alfred’s and all those old men names he’s a baby then a child then will be a young man in another 20 odd years I do hope they don’t lumber him with an old traditional name but I expect they will
Philip or is her dad Michael ? or Richard are a bit better

annsixty Tue 24-Apr-18 16:38:43

I have a GS named James with a younger sister named Charlotte.
I also have an Alfie and a Bobby ( Robert) named after his father who is called Robert.
The other 2 have modern names.

Jalima1108 Tue 24-Apr-18 16:09:14

Alfred or Frederick
(Alfie is quite popular as is Freddie)

Jalima1108 Tue 24-Apr-18 16:07:16

His father's cousin is called James.

Arthur James Philip Michael

Anniebach Tue 24-Apr-18 15:59:18

Prince James Pj

Anniebach Tue 24-Apr-18 15:58:30

According to the bookies there has been a sudden surge for James.

DanniRae Tue 24-Apr-18 15:49:32

Charleygirl - I think it is Michael.

Charleygirl Tue 24-Apr-18 15:39:21

I personally do not like old fashioned names like Albert and Alfred. I think maybe David or Phillip. What is Kate'sfather's name?

GillT57 Tue 24-Apr-18 15:38:39

nonnasue agree about confusing with two Charlies ( Charles and Charlotte) but I once worked with a Christopher who had a twin Christine.....two Chris...sorry off the topic, but I always thought it odd. Did their parents refer to them as Topher and Tine I wonder? As you were grin

Lilypops Tue 24-Apr-18 15:22:45

Maybe, James William Arthur, takes the name of Kate's brother, And one of Prince Charles middle name as well as Dad William, Ooh should I have a little bet on this ,?

annsixty Tue 24-Apr-18 14:53:53

I don't think I have seen Richard mentioned, that has a royal pedigree.

Teetime Tue 24-Apr-18 14:52:36

My lovely Dad was called Albert a vine name. Ethelred, Egbert, Harold?

Lyndiloo Tue 24-Apr-18 14:40:29

Nonnasusie - I didn't think of that (Duh!) So, of course, it won't be Charles! Alexander would be good ...?

Prince Alexander Phillip David Windsor

(They'll probably throw a few more names in, for good measure.)

annsixty Tue 24-Apr-18 14:32:00

Of course they would but it is their little tease to keep us guessing.

DanniRae Tue 24-Apr-18 14:17:56

Yes merlotgran I like the name Leo.
Oh I wish they'd make their minds up........I am getting impatient.
Surely they would have had names ready before the baby was born?

nonnasusie Tue 24-Apr-18 13:32:43

Surely not Charles as his sister is Charlotte! Two Charlies would be confusing ?!

merlotgran Tue 24-Apr-18 13:27:25

Leo's a nice name

Anniebach Tue 24-Apr-18 13:25:10

Victoria had a son Leopold

DanniRae Tue 24-Apr-18 12:28:06

My son is called Robert so I would be delighted for the new prince to be called after him................after all my Robert has always been my little prince, even though he's 33 now!!
