One DD and three DGC a fifteen minute drive and other DD and two DGD two and a half hour drive. Interestingly, a couple of friends who visit DC and DGC in Australia and Canada for three to six weeks at a time might actually spend more hours in a year with those families than we do wi th those who are two hundred miles away, it is very condensed time of course. I have one brother who lives by himself about three miles away and close cousins also all here in the city. I do keep in touch with cousins in USA, and we have visited, though due to their age, they probably won't come here again. Their grandsons are very proud of their Scottish heritage, and I think they will be staying in touch, and coming to visit. I think though, that as the generations pass, people may not make the same efforts.
