Thanks for the warning. At present I pop a lid on the disposable cup, put it in my car with my shopping (there is a special space for it) and drink it at leisure at home after running it through the microwave.

It will stop people's filthy habits. One woman could not separate one lid from another so used her teeth- revolting.

Yes, I can manage a quick whizz around Lidl. I love a bargain almost as much as coffee.

Lidl don't do coffee to go, but they do gorgeous food! Cheap too!

I never go anywhere without it including a coffee break.

I agree. If I want a coffee I go in the cafe or get one at home. Can't really drink coffee in the shop or in the car driving home.

I don't get it either. Shopping's shopping and coffee is for enjoying at leisure.

I love a good cup of coffee with the best of them , and like Waitrose but I just don't get this whole thing. Not using your own cups but buying your shopping and getting a coffee to go? There's lots of other things Id rather have.

It would be great if they provided paper bags instead of plastic ones for fruit and veg too

Oxfam shops have reusable bamboo-based beakers for around £11 (or they did at Christmas time).
