I occasionally keep a tissue under bra strap if wearing something sleeveless with no pockets.

I think it used to be more common for hankies to be kept there and my mother used to tell a story about a woman at a party rummaging in her bra and muttering “I knew I had two when I came”

As an ex Guide I keep a clean hanky, a bit of string, a gizmo for taking stones out of horses’ hooves and tuppence for the phone in mine.

Spare cash (in bank notes) when travelling. No-one is going to get at it there without my noticing!

Regularly find far too many crumbs there. I was never bothered by that earlier, must be an old lady thing, as I distinctly remember great aunts dusting their blouse-encased bosoms free of crumbs.

Back in the days when we had pound notes, I put one down my bra but it must have fallen out as I never saw it again. I didn’t make that mistake again either.

Well, it is something a bloke just can't ask any woman is it? And we're mostly a broad minded lot. Mostly.

I keep tissues and occasionally money. But not coins as they're too uncomfortable and don't stay put. When the DC were young and fudging for my door key was difficult with not enough spare hands or time to fudge around my handbag, I used to keep my door key on a piece of string around my neck and tucked into my bra.

Of course, if women's clothes had pockets as generous and men's we wouldn't need to utilise bras as pockets.

Actually this seems like a question a 12 year old boy would ask an older woman in the hopes of shocking her. I don't doubt that the majority of GNs are unshockable by such a juvenile question - we have all, I think, experienced a lot worse.

In the last week I have seen (on TV) a memory stick and a wad of cash being stashed for safe keeping in a cleavage.
I have been known to use it for a tissue if I have no pockets!

Tissues. I used to put my phone there occasionally, but a friend advised me not to, because of risk- radiation? Can't remember but I stopped doing it.

I might put my nitrate spray in their as I keep forgetting to keep it with me. Bit uncomfortable though.
