I am involved in organising a concert to celebrate the end of the first WW and would like to include some readings, preferably in the form of first hand accounts of those involved, either on the front or at home.
It is a delicate subject to handle well - there will be children involved as well as adults, and I am trying to reflect both the horror of the conflict in an appropriate way (is there one?), but also the reactions and celebrations that took place. I have found a few fist hand accounts, but these are mainly from US soldiers.
Any help that can be offered would be gratefully received.

Unbearable grief compounded by our adult children’s reactions
