Why not have a professional spray tan before you go?

I can’t use fake tans, even the ones that are added to moisturiser, the minute I go swimming I look as if I’ve got hepatitis. I used to use a wash off stocking type, it’s just make up for legs. Obviously you can’t go swimming but it looks natural and does cover imperfections. My other tip is listen out for a wonderful German accent and follow them. They are far more sensible than us and really don’t care about that sort of nonsense. I’m off to stay in a hotel frequented by Germans this month. I can’t wait, all that cleanliness, all that unadorned natural flesh enjoying the warmth(it’s not a nudist camp honest it’s not) it’s your holiday the most important thing is you relax and enjoy it. If you can’t join in the German ‘I don’t care’ thinking pop down to Boots there’s plenty of fake tans/leg make up on offer. sunshine

How about 'veil' make up?
Its used to hide scars and birth marks, and is waterproof.

Try Garnier Summer Body (get the light one)

This is a moisturiser with a hint of tan. You might not notice any different the first time you use it as it’s very subtle. I use it 2-3 times a week in the warmer weather and it’s just enough to give a slight golden glow.

Make sure you exfoliate beforehand. I don’t know if it’s enough to cover your blemishes but it ought to blend them in a bit. Try it before you go and if it works take it with you.

Hallo squirrel5 I would use fake tan. I use the Clarins gel one which is easy to apply, doesn't smell and doesn't streak.

I am lucky to be going on an exotic holiday in May, and I know it will be very warm....my dilemma is that I live most of the year in jeans/trousers,as I have quite unsightly legs, covered in blotches, thread veins, and do wear knee length supports under the trousers,my legs are a good shape though, and in the summer i wear the longer length shorts,or ankle grazers.I would love to wear shorter shorts or dresses, but am very self conscious of horrible legs.,My question is,..has anyone used or can recommend camouflage make-up for legs, that blends in nicely without looking blotchy or orange ,I have fair skin, and have tried some make-up in the past but ends up streaky and orange !,many thanks in advance
