How silly!!

kitty ask Alexa to remind you! It's easy, I do it to remind me of appointments, usually looking after grandchildren when one of them has to see an opthalmologist or dermatologist etc.
I scratched my head last week wondering what one of my reminders was for, then I received a letter from the water company. Aha, I was supposed to read the water meter. Ah well, I've asked her to remind me next month instead!

We maybe need a 'reminder' thread!

My next move could well be, refer to diary/handbag!.........Oh how we laughed

I phoned to make an appointment for a CTscan yesterday, the automated voice asked for my ref. number at the top of my letter........ Just shoot me now, I can’t remember where I put the letter.

That made me laugh Agus because I had written a note in my diary reminding me to take a letter telling the gp that I have had a shingles jab. That was in my bag ready!!

I think you and I are on the same planet kitty. I have reached a stage whereby I have to write ‘important’ info down, even the blatantly obvious!

Made me chuckle too. Nice to know I'm not the only silly one!!

I used to work for a GP, and the number of people who came in for a fasting blood test and said "I only had a slice of toast" "I only had x,y,z". Then there were others who did not admit they weren't fasting, and then wondered why the doctor was shocked at their test result.

Oh dear!

We had a call at 9 am to tell us that an appointment for DH had been cancelled and we were delighted - it is too nice a day to drive to the hospital and sit in the waiting room full of people coughing. I will garden instead!

I did that on more than one occasion ? I was very happy when told my GP surgery no longer do fasting blood tests.
