Ok today I am wearing a new bra and glancing in the mirror the words of that song came into my head- "Love lifts us up where we belong"!!! I couldn't help it. My boobs seemed to be telling me something.
Anyone else found songs which are suddenly appropriate where they were never meant to be?

U2. '"stuck in a moment" usually describes life.

How about "You sexy thing" by Hot Chocolate for you in your new bra?

That's stretching things a bit too far gmelon!

You could have had the Jacky Wilson song ‘Your Love Is Lifting Me Higher’ grin

Heard on the radio the other day ‘Gossip Calypso’ ( Lance Percival) when I had been having a good chat with a neighbour at the end of the drive, and she always knows all that has been happening with the neighbours!

Some years ago I was on a course with a colleague at Durham University. We were exploring our feelings, that sort of thing.
The facilitator asked everyone to think of a song which summed up their attitude to work.
I looked at my colleague and without saying a word, in unison we burst into 'Always Look On The Bright Side of Life'.... ta dum, ta dum, ta dum di dum di dum........grin
Trisher don't forget the first line of 'You Sexy Thing' is
'I believe in miracles' grin

When I was starting a scrapbook and wanting stuff for first page I looked up facts for the year my son was born. I found out that the number 1 in the charts on the day he was born was by Yazz - 'The Only way is up' lol.

I've just looked up what was top of the pops when DD1 was a baby - and it was Slade singing 'Cum On Feel The Noize'

Very appropriate grin

When our first Dd was born DH turned on the radio and it was playing ELO , Mr Blue sky. The first line he heard was ‘ hey you with the pretty face, welcome to the human race’. Perfect

‘Everything’s gonna be alright, everything’s gonna be ok’ it was playing on the radio when we were told that our DD2 had cancer.
I repeated it constantly in my head, still do

When I had my breast cancer op in 1996 I kept thinking
'I have to admit it's getting better' again and again...and I'm still here!
