I have no idea who I would vote for. There are several who I very much admire, all for very different reasons.

I'm guessing the woman who was the first to use the "C" word in parliament ?

Marie Stopes gets my vote. Didn't even consider the actresses. Much as I love Judy Dench she has not had a great deal of influence on the lives of women

Oh, and er models....

Well I scrolled through looking for the woman who started writing about women's rights. Mary Wollstonecraft-but she wasn't there. Don't understand how any list can be complete without her. Her book A Vindication of the Rights of Women began it all.

Some interesting women there but I must have led a sheltered life because I'd never heard of at least 25% of them.

Actually 'Elizabeth, Queen of Scots' is her correct title.
