Yes, that long hot summer, no rain, we went on holiday in September, and the blasted weather broke mid week!

Could it be hazel catkins as they seem very prolific this year?

My daughter had a milkman too. I had to track him down and pay off her bill, and he had a little cry when I told him she had died.
"She was a lovely kid" he said.

I have a milkman who delivers daily, milk in bottles, potatoes , butter, yogurt, fruit juices, eggs, cheese and potting compost ?

I normally start taking them by the end of February but didn't think there was any need last week!

I woke up yesterday with croaky voice and itchy eyes so have stocked up on Loratadine.

Cherry - us too. Well, we are not actually on flood alert but live in a valley where there are bits of the village that will flood before too long!! Luckily we live on one of the highest points in our village.

I only ever drink semi skimmed long life milk and as I buy at least 12 cartons each time, 6 cartons per pack, I have never run out.

Yes we do have a stock of long life milk, unused as we also had milk in the freezer!
In my Defense I was a Girl Guide, so I’m always prepared.

I have recently read on GN that a number of GNers have had a stock of long life milk in their cupboards ready for emergencies such as the recent bad weather.
