Celebrity look a like

DH and I were mistaken for Alex Ferguson and his wife when we were staying in a hotel in Yorkshire. One gentleman even sent a drink to the table for DH.
I told DS and said they must need their eyes tested but he found a photo to show me and lo and behold we did look like them.

When I watched gogglebox last night, I remembered my ex used to say that I was like Mary - particularly the way I dress.
I think he just had the miseries because I wasn't wiggling around in pencil skirts and high heels.

In my younger days I was told I was the image of Simone Signoret ( French actress)
That was the first time I was told I had 'come to bed' eyes.
My OH really is the image of Ray Winstone ( but taller)
He even speaks the same.

The pupils in my school used to call me Anne Robinson.

When I was a student my friends and I went hostelling in Oban. We were approached by a group of Japanese tourists who refused to believe my friend wasn't Barbara Streisand. They were following us down the street, shouting, "Barbara Streisand, Barbara Streisand."

Hayley is very sweet and petite.

I was, I'm told, the spitting image of Hayley Mills. That's a long time ago though, hope I've improved a bit.

My husbands nickname at work is Paul o Grady.
He really does look like him with his silvery white hair and same shaped specs.

My DH looks like Eddie Jordan but isn't anything like as rich.

About 10 years ago more than one person thought I looked like Anne Robinson, that's when I grew my hair and have been frightened to cut it ever since!

In my younger days people always said I looked like Petula Clark...how I wish I had her voice.

grandmac, I bet your son doesn't mind looking like George Clooney like my son minds being compared to Jack Black. They don't only look alike but also have the same mannerisms and both love music. My Dad on the other hand is tickled pink when people tell him he looks like Dustin Hoffman...he'd eat out on it if he could!

I was also told by several people I looked like Jenny Agutter when I was younger, Ukelele28, I was pretty happy with that.
Lately though, my husband told me I'm starting to remind him of Una Stubbs (must be my Aunt Sally blusher technique)!

I used to get told I looked like Julia McKenzie!

I was told way back that I looked like Jenny Agutter. Now with Call the Midwife on TV it's happening again. I think it's our eyes, they're very similar. My husband is often told he looks like Tommy Cooper! ?

My husband and I have always been surprised by the very close likeness between a very dear friend of mine and Emma Chambers; so how shocked I was when they both died of the same thing at the same age recently.

I was once told by a very drunk man that I looked like Shirley Williams, (was an MP) . I wasnt very impressed. The next week he looked at me and said "Oh, you don't look like her at all, she's much better looking than you are"
