A question about dentures

I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how long the process is from the "impressions" to the actual final fitting of the denture. I've asked my dentist but he was vague about it. I'm having the impression done on friday and really hoping it will all be done within a month. Or am i being unrealistic. Anyone know? smile

I think a month sounds about right. Have you got extractions to be done?

There are four stages usually a week apart if you are having full nhs dentures. Then there could be an ease afterwards.

A month sounds about right I had 4 appointments a week apart and my dentist did a good job as they didn't need any more adjustment . They were replacement dentures not for newly removed teeth .

No extractions, that's great if it only takes a month. I'm just hoping they'll be good ones, the ones i have in now are too small, my gums have shrunk i think. smile
