I want don't fear the reaper at my funeral and my mum had its over. It's sad when people want a particular tune/song played and family refuse surely you should accept their last requests. I have a whole list of songs to be played and no talk/sermon /eulogy at my funeral.

I was a DJ with Barnet Hospital Radio for some time and did play the theme from MASH, with vocals. Someone came rushing into the studio to point out it was A Bad Idea.

In the early 1970s, I had a motorbike accident and ended up with a fractured femur, fractured wrist and cracked kneecap. My aunt got the hospital radio to play 'Terry' a song about a boy who was killed on a motorbike ...

We lived in ireland for a few years and I was in hospital waiting on a procedure and fell asleep - i woke to three “dongs” and the priest came over the tannoy and gave mass - for one brief moment I thought I had died!!! Lol
