Which songs really get you dancing!

Ouch yes don't think my tale bone could stand a hard dance floor these days. I'll stick to the living room carpet .

"Oops upside your head" brings back memories for me. I was working in a solicitors office in Lancashire and we all went out for a social evening. I can remember this music coming on (which I like) and, though I am quite an uninhibited dancer normally, I felt too embarrassed to sit on the floor and do this. I was surprised to see two much older ladies from accounts joining in - and being helped to their feet afterwards. Well done to them!

Haha, yes that's exactly what they do Maggie maybe but I don't care about being seen as mainstream. I just dance to what I enjoy and that's most things. Could never dance to jazz though!

DH more than me, carol58, though I do love some NS, as you can see. I don't often go to his regular Northern Soul nights, as I find that when a song I know is played and we get up to dance, everyone else sits down because it's "mainstream"!

I am with you NannyTee with all the Stevie Wonder classics. I’ve been to see him 3 times, just wonderful but he rarely tours in the UK now.

There is a fab Swiss pianist called Sylvan Zing try Googling on YouTube. music him. He often plays for youngsters doing the jive really worth watching.
