Photos

I agree Smithy, everyone seems to think that everyone else is riveted by their normal every day life..... Not so in my case either!

Don't take it personally or read too much into it. It seems to be the way now that a lot of people think everyone and their Granny want to see their photos. I just politely look at them, make a general comment and delete (if they're on my email). No need to say much or cause offence.

I wonder why she is so insensitive of your situation, but you must like her and enjoy her company? Just delete the photos, don’t feel you have to wade through them. Unless they’re very out of the ordinary, there’s nothing as boring as pictures of other people’s lives. Don’t let it spoil your friendship, if you value it.

Maybe she's not showing off but just genuinely and misguidedly thinks that you or anyone else outside the family is interested?

I would probably just say how nice and then delete them if digital and bin them if not. Don't be jealous its such a destructive emotion and you probably have things in your life that she wishes she had. She is showing off and that shows that there must be some uncertainty there and she is looking for your approval. Let it wash over you and be the bigger person.
