Snap Marydoll .
Paint your wagon has been my favourite film for many many years.
I went with a friend while our H's babysat and that has to be 45÷ years ago.
The music was wonderful even the singing of Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood and the beauty of the lead actress whose name has gone.
I think she died quite young. The comedy was side splitting, remember the French ladies when they arrived in town?
Who could forget? The pathos of the end...
As you can see I know it backwards.
Can I also mention the young boy's reaction to his " present " from Lee Marvin?
After being introduced to drinking and smoking, that "was the best"experience

I could watch Calamity Jane over and over again, I love that film! Know the words to every song and all the dialogue too!
The other film that I could watch every day, and always see something I've missed before, is Monsieur Heulot's Holiday. Funniest film ever.

I could watch Field of Dreams starring Kevin Costner every day. It's a magical, mystical film. I love it.
A close second is Sense and Sensibility, Emma Thompson's version.

West Side Story and how dare Steven Speilberg think he could better it.

I was reminiscing and thinking about my favourite film ever.

For me it was Paint Your Wagon. Two reasons: Clint Eastwood blush and the songs. I have lost count of the times I saw it.
Closely followed by Roman Holiday, Gregory Peck and the scenery.
