We’re a bit ahead in time here and I’ve just made OH tea. Lamb chops, mixed salad leaves, beetroot and home made coleslaw. I’m going to have kippers on toast later. Sometimes both of us struggle for ideas so what are you folks planning to eat tonight ?

Bought pizzas with extra toppings - 'made' by dgc x 2. Followed by winewine After they have gone to bed!

Home made chicken and cashew nut curry with poppadums and naan bread. I think I may have overdone the chilli though - have to whack in a whole load of coconut milk to calm it down!!

Galen, why not send out for something you fancy, or can someone call round with a meal and share it with you?

I am not sure that I could face haggis and neaps after, what I assume was a tribunal session with those cases.

Still haven’t eaten my haggis and neaps, couldn’t face it after 5cases of depression and fibromyalgia, I now need encouragement to cook and eat!

Rotten luck, marydoll! Hope you're nice and cosy now. A very long, large man sat next to me on the train and "man spread" rather! I just shoved his knee away with my knee. Then, to his credit, he stretched his legs more out of the way.

I was not comfortable though (he smelled rather alcoholic) so I gathered myself up, stepped over his legs and went to sit somewhere else.

A Fry's Turkish Delight.
I was stuck behind a broken down train on the way back from the Edinburgh meet up.
It took three hours to get home.? I found it at the bottom of my bag.

Quite plain compared to yours harrigran, which sounds lovely.
Fish Friday lightly smoked salmon fillet, grilled tomato, mashed potato and peas. DH, of course, had chips.

harrigran Fri 26-Jan-18 19:50:13

Whitby scampi, charlotte potatoes and cauliflower with white wine sauce. Eating with tablet on the table, serve me right if I get indigestion

Treebee Fri 26-Jan-18 19:21:02

blush Morrison's " slam it in the oven" curry, prawn buhna, chicken korma, tadka dahl, aloo ghobi saag, £7 (you get 2 mains & 2 sides) could have has rice instead of one of the veg dishes, but we prefer it like that ^ with some garlic and coriander naan.

I am a very bad Phoenix, but it is Friday!

Proper cooking for the rest of the week though!

M0nica Fri 26-Jan-18 15:38:46

For lunch we had a stilton and sausage risotto with green beans, then stewed plums. Tonight we will have a salmon and broccoli fishcake, grilled tomato and fresh fruit.

Kittye Fri 26-Jan-18 13:17:30

Chicken kievs, mini roasties and cauliflower and broccoli cheese.

kittylester Fri 26-Jan-18 12:13:08

Tonight we are having Chicken supreme in marshal and cream sauce with small crispy roast potatoes and fine beans stirfried with tomatoes and garlic.

It's what's for lunch that's exercising my brain!

Auntieflo Fri 26-Jan-18 11:25:33

Leek and ham pasta, and fresh fruit jelly to follow.
