What! Even my delicious raspberry jelly with fresh raspberries

Am I the only one who finds every single one of these suggestions absolutely unappealing and verging on disgusting ????? ?

Raspberry jelly with fresh raspberries set in it.
Cheese on a sweet biscuit as a change from the savoury crackers.

Mashed potato sandwiches are nice.

Hummus and crusty fresh white bread, chocolate crackles.

I cope by never buying either hummus or chocolate crackles myself, but whenever I visit DS &DDiL or DD, they always Have some in the fridge .

Jelly babies.
Scotch pancakes with lots of butter.
Chocolate Brazil’s.
Prawns in a chilli and garlic sauce.

Those tiny little bite sized french fancies, pickled beetroot sandwiches, squashed garden pea sandwiches, stinky cheese ( smellier the better ) melted on toasted Turkish bread and cucumber dipped in garlic barbecue sauce, and a mug of tea. Yum

A huge slice of rich fruit cake with a wedge of strong cheese. Delish!

You can buy some really fancy jellies nowadays! I saw pina colada and black forest gateau flavour - who knew!!

I like the sound of all these jellies. I'd have to get off my bum and make them, though. Had a cinammon iced bun from Morrisons the other day. Was delicious.

Talking about jelly, my Grandma used to make lime jelly with green grapes in it - very refreshing.

Mandarin oranges in orange jelly is DH’s other ‘signature dish’! He started making it when GS was small, then discovered that a friend who used to come to lunch loved jelly, so then he made it at every opportunity, but our friend is no longer with us (no, not from a surfeit of jelly!) and when he presents it to GS, the response these days is “Is there anything else, Grandad?”
Me? It has to be Mr Kipling’s Fondant Fancies!!

We bought some pots of jelly when littlest DGD had a sore throat. She didn't want them - I can't imagine where they have gone!

I can consume obscene amounts of all of that.

Blueberry layered yoghurt from Aldi's.
Ham and cream cheese with chives sandwiches.
Cheese topped crumpets.

A bowl of cornflakes with ice cold milk.

I make myself fruit in jelly all the time , mixed berries in black currant jelly, mandarins in orange jelly, apricots in green jelly, strawberries in strawberry, delicious as a sweet treat and I use sugarfree jelly so low in calories too.

That's interesting about the Bovril and jam, bb. I recently started adding raspberry curd to salt beef sandwiches when I'd run out of chutney and the combination is delicious.
