Light hearted - it is nice to be nice - isn't it? What has happened to you day that meets this question?

Today we took our 2 he old granddaughter for a walk to the local fire station near our home, as she loves Fireman Sam. Just as we got there, the doors opened and I told DH to stand back as there was obviously a fire and the fire engine was coming out.
However, a firefighter came out and invited us into the fire station to sit in the fire engine. Our DGD was so excited, but a little shy. The firefighter said just to phone up and to arrange to come back another day. It was a totally unexpected thing to happen. It certainly put a smile on our face. DH was just as excited and I do love a Man in a uniform.?

Later on, a cat sat in our porch on the mat ( belongs to a neighbour.) Felt as if it was welcoming us home.

Did Someone wave you out at a busy junction, hold a door or pack your groceries? What small thing made you smile today?
