Anya

I have emailed Anya and am now awaiting a response. She could be on hols. I heard from her just before Xmas.

I met Anya a while ago, she is a really nice person and I do hope she will be back at some point, likewise Ana....but sometimes posters need to take a break for all sorts of reasons.

I've not had any reply to my pm to Anya yet. Has anyone else?

No, it would have been Anya you met; I know that because I keep trying to get to the Brum meet ups but they always seem to be when I'm away.

I thought I had met Anya at a Birmingham meet-up. It must have been Ana.

Anya came to a meet up in Edinburgh in August. It was very nice to meet her. I hope all is well with her.

I have missed Anya as I always found her posts very susinct, and thoughtful. I am sure she said something about not posting for a while. But I may be wrong

How strange this thread has been started today, as I was only thinking last night that I hadn't seen either Ana or Anya on here for a while. I did wonder whether one or both of them had changed their names...

Now I'm wondering who you used to be MOnica! I have enough problems remembering names at the best of times, so name changes confuse me utterly.

I am missing Ana, Anya* and PRINTMISS and wondered how they were just the other day.
Dare I say I wondered how Jingls is too? without starting a long thread?
I notice that etheltbags has posted occasionally in the past few weeks, which is good.

I asked after Ana but the other poster had not heard from her.

And others too - but perhaps they have changed their names.

I will send Anya an email now and check she is ok.

I was about Anya this morning ...and I also Pj'd Ana a while back asking if all was well and not heard from her

When I changed my name, my last post under the old name was to say I was changing my name, but not what i was changing it to.

I miss PRINTMISS too TerriBull. The last time I noticed her post on here someone got quite shirty with her over children wearing earrings of all things. Happy NewYear to Ana, Anya, PRINTMISS, Jingle and any other GNetters not posting anymore.

I have been wondering about Anya as well.

I sent a pm to Ana last September to ask if she was OK as I hadn't seen her posting. She reassured me that she was.

There are so many new names on here now that I can't work out if they are new members or name changes.

I have noticed Ana hasn't posted for a while she was quite prolific. Of course posters do reinvent themselves under another guise, maybe that's the case. I was sorry when PRINTMISS disappeared I miss her gentle posts I found them an antidote to some of the aggression that exists on GN. She didn't make a secret of the fact that she was well into her 80s so one can only wonder.

I had wondered if perhaps Ana had changed her GN name.
