Dealing with my Husband's death

My DH died on Christmas eve. Forgive me for writing this down but I feel I'm going to burst. We were going to his daughters funeral, but he had a mini stroke they think, the next day he had a brainstem infarction rendering him with locked in syndrome. He knew what was going on but could only move his eyes. He then died on Sunday morning. I feel I'm living in a bad dream. I have a loving family and friends, and as for the Hotels I stayed in and the Hospital, people went above and beyond. But I'm feeling so alone.

I`m so, so sorry GrannyjillyT. I`m not very good with words, but I do know how you are feeling, having lost my husband nearly 15 months ago, after just over 53 years of marriage. Take each day as it comes, accept any help offered, and, I assure you, there is light at the end of the tunnel, although certain things will continue to bring it all back and upset you all over again. It will obviously never go away, but life does get easier. MawB is much better with words than I am.
