The hotrox hand warmer is the same sort of thing as the one I've bought - there are several brands and they all look pretty good to me!

I might add that I also got a pop ad for an assault rifle (not Farlows!) Lord knows what triggered that one!!

midgey since I mentioned Farlows on here yesterday, ads for them have been popping up confused and the HotRox product was on there. It does look really good. I had never seen it before.

My daughter gave me some ‘hot roxx’ I charge them up and they last for ages. She did say they were expensive but they make going out in the winter with Raynaud’s possible. You could try the small reusable crystal warmers but they are not nearly as good.

I’ve gone for the electronic ones which double as a phone charger. You charge them up and then turn them on for warmth - they can stay warm for up to 6 hours. Or you can use them as a portable power pack to charge a mobile phone, so they’re an all year round useful little thingummyjig tchsmile

If you are worried about them I suggest you try Little Hotties disposable hand, body or foot warmers. Each one is a sachet of crystals which are activated by shaking. They stay hot for hours. They are popular with fishermen. I use them in my gloves when walking.

Zippo have been making brilliant lighters for years. I would imagine their products are good quality.

Fishermen use them a lot. Both John Norris and Farlows of Pall Mall sell them, so they must be a good and reliable product.

The reviews are good ...

I've just come across these online. Does anyone have one? I would love to know how good they are. I can't help being a tiny bit nervous of the instruction "Just remove the lid, light the burner, wait for the indicator bar to turn red, pop it back in its protective warming bag"
