jen even faith schools are under the auspices of Ofsted and it's my understanding the primary school girls wearing hijab is a recent development. Why should Ofsted not be interested in a faith school adopting something which is not normally part of the religion? For me this falls into the same category as under age girls being removed from school for a forced marriage and the Trojan horse enquiries in Birmingham.
Annie presumably Ofsted wants to know what the children have to say about wearing a hijab. Why not ask the children?
