Mine is that few seconds when I'm in that half awake half asleep mode feeling wonderfully calm. Only lasts a matter of seconds but it's lovely.

Bedtime ? Clean fresh sheets after a warm bath !

NotTooOld I love 4 o'clockish, when I can sit in our sun room with a mug of tea and something to read. I don't manage it every day and I notice my dogs looking at me at around that time, no doubt thinking, "Is she? Isn't she?" When I do, they scamper in after me and jump up on the sofa alongside me. On really good days I can stay to watch the beautiful sunsets through the windows.

Evening - dinner finished - dishwasher loaded - kitchen cleaned...........time then to relax in whichever way I choose

Coolgran my DH takes 'Ropinorole' for his restless legs this has been hugely successful

Bedtime, lying in bed reading a good book and stroking my cat who has visited my bedroom specifically for cuddles.

Coolgran - I have heard that upping your intake of magnesium can help restless legs. It does for me most of the time. It's a horrible complaint.

I quite like around 7pm, dinner is over and we settle down for the evening, a couple of dramas, sudoko, For a while, until RLS visits.

I definitely don't like bed time as I suffer dreadfully from restless legs and insomnia and often only fall asleep at about 5am. I also never have a lie in i.e. in the twilight bliss of being half asleep because when I waken, I really waken, ping.... wide awake and within 5 minutes the RLS will start to kick in again, so up I get.

Cooking the evening meal, having a chilled white, Pointless or the news on the TV and chatting to DH.

I like all of the day except for that gloomy time in the Winter between about 4pm and 5pm.

shysal Thu 02-Nov-17 15:37:32

The first couple of hours of the day are the best for me. I wake naturally in time to get up at 5am when I have a soak and read in the bath before my daily walk.

Right now. brew

emmasnan Thu 02-Nov-17 14:52:28

The three mornings a week when my DH brings me coffee up to bed before he leaves for work and I drink it in peace while I think over whats happening that day.
After many years of being up first and never getting a lie in this is such a luxury.

What I mean by bedtime is .......SLEEP .....Any other bedtime activity has long since been lost in the days of yore...sad

Morning. I love getting up and making that first cup of tea.

Christinefrance Wed 01-Nov-17 20:59:48

I'm with you Greyduster love that time of peaceful reading with no distractions. I also enjoy my first cup of coffee in the morning after walking the dogs.

Willow500 Wed 01-Nov-17 20:56:11

Getting up early on a Sat/Sun morning and having a couple of hours to myself and no work!

Menopaws Wed 01-Nov-17 18:08:14

Going to bed or having a lie in

Stansgran Wed 01-Nov-17 14:56:50

Drinking my first cup of tea in bed especially if DH has brought it to me.

Greyduster Wed 01-Nov-17 14:20:12

Bedtime, on any day of the week. I have half a hour of perfect quiet to wind down with a book before I go to sleep. Can’t concentrate when DH is wittering and the tv is going.

SueDonim Wed 01-Nov-17 13:53:48

Late at night when all is quiet and no one else is around.

Greenfinch Wed 01-Nov-17 13:52:26

I like the dark winter evenings when I can settle down with my knitting,a good book ,crosswords,my tablet and the television. However this would not be my favourite time if I lived alone.

gillybob Wed 01-Nov-17 13:37:18

Bed time on a school night but otherwise a Saturday morning, when I wake up and remember that I don't have to come to this god awful place today. Heaven.

Imperfect27 Wed 01-Nov-17 13:35:25

I am a morning person and love being out and about early. Currently have to walk a dog early and love the freshness of the day,

If it is the weekend and a lazy day, then settling to a second cup if coffee around about 9 a.m. feels grand!

grannysue05 Wed 01-Nov-17 13:16:36

As I have grandchildren every day after school until they are collected by Dad at 6.15pm......my absolute favourite is 6.25pm.
DH and I heave a sigh of relief that we coped again and head for supper and a glass of something nice!
