I have a large vinyl collection that gets played regularly and my 20 year old musician son has a fair sized collection too .
There's a brilliant second hand record shop in Reading that we both love to shop in .

We have a lot of LP's too and quite a few singles although they were depleted many years ago when our youngest son decided to use them as target practice with an air pistol shock. Also have no record deck and have seriously thought about buying one of the new record players which also records them digitally. When we cleared out my parents house there were boxes of records which I couldn't get anyone to take. I eventually gave them to the charity shop in the hope someone would enjoy them.

We no longer have a record player, and have transferred all our vinyl onto cd, but I still can`t bring myself to part with all the records, so they`re till taking up space in cupboards upstairs.

yes me too, I still have all the vinyl singles from my teens, and every few years we'll get them down from the attic and have a little session playing them

I still have a lot of vinyl!! Late DH could not walk past a second hand record shop or market stall! It still gets played occasionally and brings back all sorts of memories!

Yesterday DH and I went to our town's Sunday Market.
Beautiful, sunny day, and the town was packed with visitors viewing the many assorted stalls in the main street.
One such stall was doing a roaring trade, with a long queue and a certain air of excitement.
When I finally managed to push through to the front....what did I find on sale?
Black Vinyl .... old 33LP's. And so many of them....all the old favourites from the sixties and seventies.
Selling like hot cakes, and some titles being fought over.
Got me reminiscing.....
Taking the LP out of it's cover and lovingly polishing it before lowering it gently onto the turntable.
Lifting the arm (before auto-play) and placing the stylus carefully onto the record.
The soft crackle as the needle bit into the vinyl.
Listening pleasure.
And when the stylus was finally worn out, fitting an expensive (for then) new stylus and swearing that the sound was even better than before.
A bit like putting your car through the car wash nowadays, and believing that it now actually runs better.
Ah.....memory lane! DH loves his Bose! Not the same!
