Well, I went to have a good old moan in the 'anyone awake' thread, and found it has been closed. So, here is a new one.
I'm awake, I have a headache, I'm at work, so can't go prowling around, and I know tomorrow is going to be a terrible day.

Greyduster Fri 15-Dec-17 06:25:42

I should have joined you both at four, but it was too cold to get out of bed and get the iPad, so I laid there until five with a bit of Gilbert and Sullivan going round and round in my head!!! It is still driving me mad!

kitlong Fri 15-Dec-17 04:47:58

Morning, I'm having sleep problems Annebach, you are not alone! Been awake since 3.30ish and have let the dogs out so I can have a cuppa - as soon as they hear a movement they think its time to get up so have to sort them out before anything else! Need to buy cards today as I keep forgetting and I'll be too late soon. Cant stop thinking about a shopping dilemma someone had yesterday that is of no real significance but cant get out of my head - morning Silverlining, I wonder what you did???!!!!!!!! Happy Friday to all.

Anniebach Fri 15-Dec-17 04:06:35

4.05am , mug tea, so,pleased no one seems to be having sleep problems

Anniebach Thu 14-Dec-17 03:32:44

3.10am, mug tea. Same old, think groceries will be delivered today. Good thaw yesterday. Miss my granddaughters , both now stay with friends in villages outside town, they don't want to be in town, in touch with their father and me . g daughter2 was here yesterday, gave her the Yahtzee game, it's nearly forty years old, three generations of us have written inside of the lid, names, dates times, my daughters aged 9 and 7, their husbands to be, the three grandchildren, sad to let it go but she loves playing it and her boyfriend wants to write in it now, so it goes on. Lesson ther I suppose.

Lot going on cornergran but I have to deal with it. hugs x

cornergran Wed 13-Dec-17 08:51:04

As long as you are ok annie

Anniebach Wed 13-Dec-17 08:49:08

I shouldn't have sounded off in the night cornergran, I don't need anyone with me to give a statement. X

cornergran Wed 13-Dec-17 08:37:40

Sounds as if there’s a lot of pressure again annie: rest when you can. Is there someone who could be with you when the police call for your statement? I hope there will be a way you can get to hospital appointments, any way around the bridge? Look after yourself as best you can.

Anniebach Wed 13-Dec-17 03:34:52

3.05am, mug tea , had few quite good nights, chicken last night and stomach really upset. A new dietician ,NHS, phoned yesterday , I explained I had increased the Ensure because no groceries, from two to three a day. Yesterday 30 ensures arrived from chemist ,had 27 in house, dietician said I had to increase to FOUR a day and she was sending script to chemist for 84 more. That's 141 and I have to eat meals as well. They seem sure my stomach has shrunk so I can expect the discomfort. I cancelled an oscapy at the hospital because I am not going over the bridge and then police phoned in evening , the coroners clerk told them they had to get a statement from me. Fed up, cheesed off .

Sorry, an epistle .

Anniebach Tue 12-Dec-17 11:15:00

Hoping groceries will be delivered Thursday silver , roads should have been made passable by then. Good luck with your GP x

silverlining48 Tue 12-Dec-17 11:10:15

Thank you annie. Hope you are ok today and get your shopping delivered.

Anniebach Tue 12-Dec-17 09:48:46

So pleased for you silver x

silverlining48 Tue 12-Dec-17 09:25:29

I have to report my first full nights sleep in so many months that i just cant remember the last time. I woke feeling refreshed and energised to catch up on things today.
Confession though, i took one of my very precious sleeping pills, and did not cut it in half as i have done before to conserve the 14 i am given.
First job today is to make an appt to see the gp to get a few more. I hope you are all as pleased for me as i am for myself.
Greetings to you all and a good day and a good night tonight is wished for everyone.

Anniebach Tue 12-Dec-17 09:15:58

I don't like being cut off cornergran and having a phobia of snow and all things white can't say I am a happy bunny but nothing can be done, snow comes and it goes . I am trying to sort my diet out, still want to be size 10 ?

cornergran Tue 12-Dec-17 07:13:21

A mixed blessing then annie, a wonderfully good night but I don’t like the thought of you being cut off. I hope you have enough to eat and can keep warm. I think tomorrow is supposed to see a general thaw so with luck Thursday will see your delivery arrive. Have you thoughts on changing your eating pattern? Would your protein meal, I guess chicken, earlier in the day help? How lovely to sleep so much longer though. Stay warm, look after yourself.

Anniebach Tue 12-Dec-17 06:48:13

Slept until 6.20am, will have to rethink my diet, hope the snow ploughs come to this part of town today , Tesco can't deliver , so have tried an order for Thursday.

Anniebach Sun 10-Dec-17 10:06:33

Oh dear, town cut off, supermarkets and shops closed, I shall have to force myself to drink Ensure as meal replacements, not my fault and will not have groceries tomorrow either ! Have plenty of tea but will be out of milk tomorrow , at least have plenty of Ensure ?

Willow500 Sun 10-Dec-17 05:54:32

Annie how strange (but great news) you've slept so well on the Ensure - would it be possible to have that as your last meal of the day to help with the reflux or does it not make any difference when you eat?

Snow forecast down south today so my son has wisely decided not to travel up and persuaded GD1 not to travel either. It's not arrived here yet but thick white frost has.

Anniebach Sun 10-Dec-17 04:59:59

4.35am and mug tea. How lovely you all are.

Must tell you about Friday, pain in jaw by ear, not from talking , couldn't eat, so no chicken for dinner, drank Ensure as three meal replacements AND slept from 11.30 to nearly 8.00pm, bliss, no other word, a nights sleep. Back to chicken yesterday and reflux again,

How I wish I could live on Ensure. Mountain road was blocked because of snow, Tesco couldn't bring grocery order yesterday, I was thrilled, not because of that white stuff, yes Juliette, it terrifies me. I thought - I will have to drink Ensure as meal replacement, then my dietician arrived in her 4 x 4 with chicken , very kind I know .

Gosh another epistle sorry but had to tell about my nights sleep, change from my nightly moaning

Juliette Sat 09-Dec-17 23:50:48

Glad to see you back Annie. Have you got snow? I think you mentioned a while back that you don’t like the whiteness.
I was a bit concerned that it had made you even more upset.

Take care x

Bellanonna Sat 09-Dec-17 23:23:46

Annie, it’s good to see you. X

Anniebach Sat 09-Dec-17 22:54:09
