Do you ever check who as the same birth date as you ?

To my horror I found that Diane Abbott MP shares the same birth except I am 7 years older. ? I am much happier with Gwyneth Paltrow.

I would far rather share a birthday with Diane Abbott than with Gwyneth Paltrow! Unfortunately my birthday twin is Adolf Hitler. I was born on his last birthday, when I imagine he was not having much fun.

and having read the thread, I share my birthday with at least one other gransnetter grin

Voltaire
Magritte
Goldie Hawn
Bjork

I thought there were more, but after searching several websites, they're the only ones I've heard of.

Also Hetty Green - "The Witch of Wall Street". Had made $100 Million by the end of her life in 1916. Not really a role model, as she was a chronic miser and only had one dress apparently.

I was born on my Auntie's birthday - don't think she ever really forgave me for stealing her spotlight...! On the other hand, I gained a lot of street cred at school for sharing my birthday with John Lennon smile

My long term foster son had the same birthday as my own maternal G.mother, whilst his bioligical mother shared a birthday with my mother.
My youngest two children were twins, obviously the same birthday, and one of those gave birth to her second child on that date.

Olympic gold medallist (hurdles) 1948 Fanny Blankers-Koen (now there's a name to conjure with!). Sadly, the most I ever achieved was a school certificate for being the junior backstroke champion fifty years ago.....

Somewhat underwhelmed to know I share a birthday with actress Koo Stark......

I don't wish to know who dares to share my birthday. I consider it mine, all mine and celebrate annually accordingly.

Apparently I share my birthday with Jesus but only if you're a Jehovah's Witness who believe he was born on the 1st October!

Just did a search.. the only one I really know is Mick Fleetwood. I love Fleetwood Mac.

Chicklette Sat 30-Sept-17 09:10:23

I'm not sure who I share mine with, but I was born 2 days after prince Andrew. As a child my Mum used to say I'd marry him, and although I knew it wasn't true, as a child I always felt I had some connection to him. ? Glad to say I no longer feel that way.

Lisalou Hedy Lemarr is an interesting woman. She worked in communications during the war while at her peak as an exotic actress and designed a system which is the basic of Wi-Fi and much other technology. Because it was wartime and very secret it is not well known and she hasn't had the credit that she should. There are some good YouTube documentaries about her.
For me its Meryl Streep and a list of 'famous' people that I have never heard of.
