Doesn't matter what they're called as long as you like them. I love ankle boots!
Thanks for code Kim.

I have a 20% off code if anybody wants to order online, it's BTS17, it's valid until Sunday.

I've got Matron Ella too and love them. They are so comfortable and look good with trousers or leggings. In fact I love them so much that I have a brand new pair put away ready to take their place. (TBH I don't really care what they are called but now I think about it it is a silly name!!)

I don't know why Clarks name their shoes or who is responsible but they need to stop and give them a number of something.

Matron Ella sounds kiss of death in the fashion world!
May I recommend a Hotter Pixie Boots (unobjectionable name and VERY comfy)? Soft as slippers, good range of colours, suede.
I have bought them before but used to find them hard to get on as I have high insteps and am getting stiff, but this year's style comes with a ZIP so (at the risk of infuriating Pedants on another thread) "what's not to like"??

I didn't realise that shoes had names. I buy most of mine when I am in France (from supermarkets or clothing chains). Similarly when I do buy in the UK. I have never noticed names on any of them. Personally I prefer model numbers to names.

I've got Matron Ella too! I got them in a wide fitting, and love them to bits. I wish they did them in other colours.
Clarks shoe names are a mystery. Each shoe is named with two apparently random words or names that don't convey or suggest anything about the shoes. Very strange.

Despite disliking the name and not feeling at all matronly grin I've got Matron Ella, they are really comfy and have lasted well! I've also had some from M and S that have been good value, no idea what they are called though.

I'm waiting for some Skechers ankle boots to come from Amazon. Yesterday they were in Belgium but today they are in Leicester so they are getting nearer.

I've got Orabella Anna in black. Sounds rather racy for a boot! Our local Clark's shop has just had a good sale on and they'd reduced some knee length, and ankle boots by 40%. Still not as good a bargain as that tv shopping channel's "one time only" though!

Just been trawling through the Hotter and Clarks ankle boots on the Internet, as I could do with a new pair, but the names! I like Everlay Mandy ones, (Clarks) but dare I go in and ask for them.?Then there are Matron Ella.Sounds more my age group.
