Tara will have a sniff but she knows that I am fond of other animals but to date I have not brought any home. She also loves her cuddles but hates to be kissed.

The "Other" café is empty is tonight. All the wine and pork scratchings as well as the regulars are missing.
I find it very strange that Menopaws and Soop were seen on the CCTV during the night and are now on the charabanc.

Morning you lively lot !! Haven't caught up because I have no phone signal or Internet. But popped into the garden centre cade for breakfast and taking advantage of their WiFi.

Have cleared the road outside and there is room on the drive for the chara!! Grampy is making sandwiches and tea or coffee , Sam is on cuddle duty.

Just read this from Shocked in Norfolk,
Yesterday afternoon a charrabang, pulled up outside my new home, and about 20 ladies of a certain age, and a young very fit piper, ran up the drive banged on the door, all with their legs crossed and doing a strange dance, hands between their legs, begging to use my loos.
On further inspection it was clear they were all slightly drunk,and very noisy, they had brought me loads of lovely grub and lashings of booze, as the afternoon wore on,it was clear they were expecting me to feed and find room for them all to sleep.
I am, and have always been very welcoming to strangers, however, the goings on we're getting a bit too much for my poor husband, and as for my little dog, well lets just say he is still traumatised.
Eventually the poor piper had had enough and escaped through the bedroom window, never to return, the ladies very charming as they were sabotaged what was tobe a quite evening of settling In to our new home.
They left in the early hours, all falling into the said charrabang, waving and cheering, and saying they will return next week.
I will be away.
So whoever they were, thanks for all the goodies but please
Norfolk folk be aware of strangers running up your drive.

Glad to see you’re out from under N&G and I hope things are coming together for you. I do hope Grampy’s sarnies aren’t doorstops like my DH’s, but frankly, after a few hours in a charra with this lot - especially Soop and her kilted piper (it’s breezy in Norfolk he may have a Marilyn Monroe moment and shock your neighbours to the core!! I shalln’t be looking of course ?) - any sort of reviving nosh will be welcome! It will get me out of doing double duty in the kitchen this weekend - DS and DiL for lunch and tea yesterday, and GS and his folks for a late roast dinner today. Just spent the morning watching junior football. Nerve racking or what!! 3-2 to us ?! See you all later on.

I am also now wondering WHOSE house we stopped at...it was quite big , the name on the door started with an “S” something “ham”and there were a lot of yappy little dogs with pointy ears who wanted to play with Hattie.
Nana was older than I had expected but Grampy was up for a laugh and a joke and they certainly knew what (else) to do with a piper. They seemed to want to know if we “had come far”
Maybe the chara Satnav was playing up?

Hallooooooooooooo. I've just come to. Been out like a light all night through. The piper played a tune or two. After a while he lost his puff. Then he lost his squeeze. As you do! Don't blame me! I was lying down in N&G's spare room. Something in the Tizer bottle went straight to my head and scuppered my norty intentions. You win some. You lose some. The piper knotted sheets together and absconded. I last glimpsed callgirl1 hanging on to his leg as he went through the window. It was nae a pretty sight.

Jamison I think I know who Shocked in Norfolk' is. I'm a bit bothered. I imagined that N&G would be delighted that us lot had crossed our legs country in order to celebrate. Wasn't it an evening of frolics. Even the pets enjoyed a good sniff around.

I tried to snuggle Hattie away but I discovered that she really was attached to Maw. Admittedly she and Tara would have to learn living with each other and that would be difficult so maybe I should leave Hattie in her present home and not smuggle her out. Sam was up for a new home I think.

I thought that the corgies were a tad yappy.

I do hope that N&G are slowly unpacking and settling in.

Dear ladies (I'll give one or two the benefit of the doubt ). Thank you for entertaining me with the updated version of Saturday Night and Sunday Morning. After being nicked for showing my knickers yesterday I was on community service this morning, and had to look after DGS while both parents had work commitments. He was not a happy chappy today, in fact was quite belligerent and using words I didn't think he knew. Well he certainly knows how to use them but I very much doubt he knows their meanings

Anyway, one of his current favourite films is 'Sing' which, in case you've missed it like me, is a sort of X Factor set in a town of talking animals. There are some good ol' tunes in it such as Pennies From Heaven and My Way. He'd asked me to find these on You Tube then had a strop about something I'd said 'No' to. It took me a couple of moments to realise what he meant when he asked 'Am I getting my way or not?'

Charlieg Argh! Don't tell me that the corgis were of royal breeding. One of them tried to nip the piper as he tried to get the bagpipes to play prettily. I expect that it's used to a more upmarket rendition of Campbeltown Loch. Not one of us lot sang in tune. What's more, one of us was singing I Belong to Glasgow. Poor neighbours of N&G! I wouldn't mind betting that an ASBO will be posted through their door on Monday. Neighbours were under the illusion that the newcomers were respectable.

Swanny When I suggested that you hitched a lift on the charra' by flashing a knee, I didn't expect you go as far as you did. The driver was flummoxed. He had to lie down on the back seat until he regained his composure. When he returned to his seat...he looked a right mess and needed to brush up on the highway code. He claimed to have forgotten the rules of the road. Poor chap!

I promise to return to my usual boring self over another good night's sleep. I enjoyed the trip. Shall we do it again sometime soon? N&G won't mind.

I hope that I am not breaking any GN rules by sharing the snaps we took yesterday of NanaandGrampy although they did seem a tad surprised to see us but enjoyed swapping pics of DGCs and DGGCs . Like Soop they are expecting a happy event (or two) next year.
