I have reread the whole thread and can't see a single personal reference to any poster. Personal animosity doesn't HAVE to be present in all conversations! Sometimes it is just comment on generalities.

It is, everyone should realise, perfectly possible to wish for and work for a better world for all while still being able to contemplate the unintended results of carrying some policies beyond their natural aims That often produces a bit of black humour.

It is in fact an exercise all politicians should practise. It might stop them considering themselves as perfect creatures.

I was speaking to a priest once about the ridicule often directed at the church - he smiled and said any religion that cannot take ridicule and criticism does not deserve to survive. Could not the same be said of political parties and politicians?

We read so often on the argumentative political threads that there is no need for anyone to post or even read if they don't wish to. There is no need either to post or even read this irreverent exchange of laughs on the potential future of single-party conformity.

If there is Annie it will have to be a HUGE enough room so that Comrade Corbyn can shove all those who don't agree with him and his politics. Wonder what kind of things/people he will shove in there? yggdrasil - that's exactly what the political threads are, which I suspect is why many posters avoid them, have you noticed it is usually the same posters agreeing with each other! This is a light hearted thread - and will no doubt be used against us if Momentum (sorry Labour) ever get into No. 10.
