Extend the kitchen!! I need more work surfaces. We should have done it when we built the conservatory but it would be a major expense now.
Then travelling. I'd visit every Greek Island.

I'd like a cleaner and a gardener. I'd also love to buy a holiday home by the sea, so that all the family can have breaks when they want them. I'd also like to have caterers come in to cook Christmas dinner this year.

A house, not necessarily large, preferably with a thatched roof. It would have 3 or 4 acres, including a small woodland. A small part of it would be my garden, the rest would be for rescue animals, with pigs living naturally in the woodland.

How much is lots? if endless i would buy large areas of land and have any animal that needs a home with as many people to care for them as necessary in residence.This has always been my dream.

A personal trainer. If I felt a bit fitter, and could enjoy good food again, I would be fine. No other unfulfilled wishes. And I DO NOT want to travel.

Cleaner, gardener, lots of holidays all over the world and flying first class. Oh, and a cook would be good too. Would like to help dc with mortgages/extensions etc.

Oh yes, a chauffeur and a car would be amazing! I would also love to have new furniture and carpets. I have always been 'second-hand Rose', and although I have a comfortable home, it's all a bit shabby.

I'm in the happy position of being about to inherit a significant amount of money, and realising I don't really need or want anything more. I am recently widowed and the house and garden are, if anything, too big for one person. I hope to be able to stay here so that my family can continue to enjoy visiting me. I can afford to run a car and to have nice holidays, and I really don't want any more stuff beyond the usual upgrading of clothes and shoes (ah, shoes! I do like to spend money on decent, comfortable shoes). I need to make sure I have enough in the budget to pay people to help me with the garden and the DIY - I suppose I mean don't DIY, GAMI (get a man in) instead. I want to be able to travel longer distances by train and taxi to visit friends and family without worrying about the cost.
But basically, I can do all the above from my current income and savings (yes, I am very lucky) so when the inheritance comes, I am going to share it with the family, as the grandkids are in or approaching their teens and there will be a lot of expense ahead.
I have always been thrifty (typical Scot, my husband always said) but since becoming widowed, I am realising that I can't take my money with me, and might as well spread it around a bit and enjoy it myself too. Plenty of little treats (pub lunches out with friends, a glass of wine with my meals, and maybe just another visit to the shoe shop - did I mention shoes?) and I'm content.

Nerja has the Balcon de Europe and is on the sea front. Lovely beaches cafes, restaurants, little night market.

4 bedroom villa in Spain I love Nerja to. First class flights to Australia whenever I go visit my daughter.Large detached 4 bedroom house in the country with lots of land so I could take in lots of badly treated dogs,with lovely lawns, pond. A cleaner, gardener ( even tho I love gardening).And to live another 30 years to enjoy it all. Not a lot to ask.

Jalima if you fly first class (or even business with some airlines - SAA for example) they send a 'chauffeur-driven car' (or minicab) to pick you up take you to the airport and then collect you/take you home again when you arrive back after the return journey.
And no need to shell out for your own jet and pilot, you can get to the south of France and back with 3 friends on a small chartered private jet for around £15,000! (still a lot cheaper than buying and maintaining your own plane and crew) just wish I could speak from personal experience

Thins have never been my thing but I would love to travel to places I want to see (or see again) but air travel is such a pain these days. So I would go for VIP lounges at airports and first class travel. That would do me

Oh yes GrandmaMoira! Now you're talking. I'm a window as well, A chauffeur and a bag carrier for all the "things" that I would spend lots of money on. But I'd probably give most of the money to my children in reality (wink)

Some quite basic things compared with others . A guaranteed income , a holiday once in a while. A nice secure home for my DGC. Oh and a nice new kitchen .

Our health

I would havesome lifting done on the parts that are sagging and some Polyfilling and sandblasting! I have looked after my figure as well as I can but I have horrible deepening lines and a turkey neck and 'pram hands'. I also have sunblotches on my face.

A driver to take me where I fancy by car so that I can forget about driving.

Bedding changed daily

Left knee replaced privately next week

Be able to take out private insurance so that I could if necessary stay in the best private hospitals in London.

Have no worries about which care/nursing home I may end up in and how it will be paid for after the money from my house sale has dried up.

A swimming pool

Fresh sheets on the bed every day and an indoor swimming pool.

I would save The Old Pier in Weston Super Mare before it falls into the sea. To see it closed, unloved and neglected breaks my heart !

I'd love to pay off my DDs mortgages and buy a house for my son.
Then I'd like a villa in Antibes and private jet and chauffeur driven car to get me there.
