I woke up grumpy knowing my faithful sixteen year old dishwasher gave up the ghost yesterday. Visitors arriving on Wednesday so I will remain grumpy until the new one turns up.

DH doesn't 'do' dishwashers. He refers to it as the white elephant where I store dirty dishes angry

He rarely washes up angry angry

Social media posters sniping at friends doing a voluntary job, why can't they air their grievances face to face grrr angry

Yesterday was, well, the grumpiest day I can recall. I spent most of it trying to zip the lip so I didn't upset other folk. Flipping strain. I sort of wish I had let rip, Yelling at the tin opener might have helped, but yelling at people would have done more harm than good. Right now I'm sitting in bed looking out at pouring rain and feel almost cheerful. Odd ? Me? Who'd have guessed it smile. Maybe I'll risk getting up in a minute and hope the almost cheerful lasts.

Mawbroon it was very good, thank you. I will send you info on PM as I am not sure if GN would allow me to post a link here.

My son laughed at me the other day and said how angry I was....no I am not angry...the rest of the worl is just getting so stupid! So many people need to sharpen up and get on with life, the country seems to whinge and whine and expect so much. Me oh no I'm not angry...this morning I am hopping!

Hope you enjoyed your day yesterday though imperfect I was telling theatre designer DD about the 3 + hours length of the play and she winced.
Was it a London pre-Edinburgh production?

I was caught shouting at the tin opener..."for gods sake just work, it's your only job" the other day which was also a wrong side of bed day!

I think we all need a holiday - or in the case of those who have already had a holiday, another holiday!!

Imperfect27 Sun 30-Jul-17 07:59:05

It is the default bit that worries me Greyduster LOL.

Punctuation also out of the window today though nina ... may just have something to do with a late night glass of red, or two (too) ... grin

If you had asked me yesterday I could have filled a book, Imperfect! Ask me again when I have had seven people flitting in and out of my kitchen wanting to talk to me while I am trying to cook a Sunday lunch, and then spent the afternoon looking at my son's thousands of recent holiday photographs and I will probably be able to fill another one!! My default setting is grumpy these days.?

You can spell it imperfect but I have visions of your enraged stabbings at the key pad grin
One thing that's got my goat is being awake since 5 am.

Imperfect27 Sun 30-Jul-17 07:42:32

And can't even flippin well spell grumpy correctly! ...

Tch ... definitely woken up grumpy today:
Catching up on Gn after a l9ng day out yesterday and irritated by some posts I don't agree with to the point I have had to have a 'word' with myself ...
Annoyed that Theresa Mays' bl***y dress is still in the news ...
Fed up that it is apparent that some people cannot tolerate simply joy in others without having to have a snipe ...
Cross that some news on BBC news is not news, but just advertising other programmes ...
Cheesed off because my coffee cup is empty nd the kitchen seems a long way away...
Sad eh?
Usually cheerful, but definitely wrong-side-of bed syndrome today. Hope for DH''s sake that it wears off soon grin grin grin
Anything already got your goat today?
