Come on, you lot, are you all still comatose after reaching 1,000 posts last night?

That bar won't re-stock itself you know, and I'm too busy buffing my nails...wink

Menopaws Sat 26-Aug-17 20:27:24

My lumpy custard is legendary, no one quite knows what the lumps are but never fails to impress, happy to oblige

DameJudyClench Fri 25-Aug-17 23:52:23

I've always got openings. I'll even provide the rubber dress and the ball gag.

We want Giorgio to have a classy send off.

Marydoll Fri 25-Aug-17 23:27:17

I thought as much, you hussy!
I'm looking for part time work, to help pay for Giorgio's wake, if you have any double bookings, I would be happy to help out. blush
Chewy did have a funeral plan for Giorgio, but she blew the money entertaining Big Jim, so I feel obliged to help out.

DameJudyClench Fri 25-Aug-17 23:23:46

I'm afraid I'm not t liberty to divulge that information Marydoll client confidentiality if you know what I mean.
<nudge nudge, wink wink>

"Working nights, with whom?"

DameJudyClench Fri 25-Aug-17 21:27:36

Good evening ladies. Sorry I've not been able to grace your fine establishment recently, but have been working nights.

Those politicians' bottoms don't smack themselves you know. Can someone hold my whip while I have a bit of a scratch? Thanks.

So - what did I miss?

Chewbacca Thu 24-Aug-17 22:24:04

Knew I could rely on you Marydoll . Very appropriate.

Marydoll Thu 24-Aug-17 22:22:47

What about an old" Sun Pat" raisin box? Very appropriate.?RIP Georgio

Chewbacca Thu 24-Aug-17 22:09:23

Hit the Road Jack was one of his favourite tunes. He used to tap his little stumpy tail to that and, in view of the menu offered by lemon, it would seem appropriate.
So looking forward to the potato skin gin, badger pate, pheasant pasties and rat-atouie. Hope the lumpy custard arrives in time. Have we got a suitable box to send Gordon on his final journey?

Marydoll Thu 24-Aug-17 22:02:03

Lemon are you being ironic? Gaston, was neither bright nor beautiful. Sorry Chewey . I was thinking more of " So long, farewell, Adieu..."

lemongrove Thu 24-Aug-17 21:55:28

Potato skin gin, what a treat!??
I could also do some pheasant pasties, we ran over a couple
Last week, and have hung them in the garage to mature a bit.

lemongrove Thu 24-Aug-17 21:52:28

Hmmm, All Things Bright And Beautiful?

Marydoll Thu 24-Aug-17 21:48:54

No worries. I actually laid down some potato skin gin last month. The potatoes are from my very own garden, I used some of Geraint' s raisins as manure, so he/ she lives on?. I've a few kegs in the cellar, so I'll bring them along later. I'm busy writing the order of service for the funeral service. Any suggestions for hymns?

Chewbacca Thu 24-Aug-17 21:27:50

grin just snorted tea down my nose!

Rat-atouie and badger pate would be a feast fit for a ferret! Thanks lemon!
Wonder if Marydoll could make some of that potato skin gin? And Menopaws to make her Spotted Dick dumplings with lumpy custard. Guy loved Menopaws's lumpy custard.

lemongrove Thu 24-Aug-17 21:12:59

Mature badger pate ok? Or deceased owl rissotto? What about that old favourite rat-atouie??

Chewbacca Thu 24-Aug-17 21:10:43

Would you make some of that wonderful roadkill pate lemon? Perhaps on your travels you'll find some squirrel or rabbit? It always goes down a treat at funerals probably the cause of some of them.

Chewbacca Thu 24-Aug-17 21:08:06

That would be a fitting tribute Menopaws . I'll start off with Ferrets Fermentation but I'm sure others will be more inspired by the demise of the little git chap

lemongrove Thu 24-Aug-17 21:06:15

I am real Jalima large as life and twice as natural.grin

lemongrove Thu 24-Aug-17 21:05:15

Oh no! Sob! ???
Poor little brave Gertie, what a gruesome end.
Good job that we still have the ferret litter around ( well, I have two at home now, running wild.)Should I return them to The Argy?
I will help with the catering for the wake btw, what shall I make?

Jalima1108 Thu 24-Aug-17 20:23:47

I have had 2.5 glasses of wine and that is enough for me thank you.
Oh, go on then, just a large one, reading GN threads has left me in shock I need a cocktail

Are some people real? (I know I am before you ask grin)

Menopaws Thu 24-Aug-17 19:55:56

I think we need a cocktail made in Gastons memory, name for it anyone?

Chewbacca Thu 24-Aug-17 08:56:35

What an excellent idea Marydoll ! We could use the money raised to open a ferret sanctuary in the back yard couldn't we! Of course, we'll need to have a headstone on his little grave too. Nothing too ornate. Carved marble perhaps?

Marydoll Thu 24-Aug-17 08:47:01

I know I sound heartless ( I'm glad to see the back of Guinevere, and her raisins ), I don't mean to be, but we need to make money somehow. What about a Gwendoline memorial fund?

Chewbacca Thu 24-Aug-17 08:46:22

Knew you'd understand the anguish the passing of Gladstone has caused Anya . Will we have one of those jazz bands that march up the street, like they do in New Orleans? And will you do the soliloquy?

Anya Thu 24-Aug-17 06:47:35

What a hero! Gustav must have a good sent off and the sooner the better ??
