WE had a deluge for 5 minutes early evening yesterday but little since- certainly none today. I enjoyed sun bathing mid afternoon yesterday.

The sun is attempting to peep through here in London- have you considered moving?!!

We had one of the driest sunniest Junes on record here, then the school holidays and the rain started.
I am hosting a Garden party here for about 40 people next Monday, luckily we can be indoors if it rains.
As an aside, I sent out the follow up invitations on Saturday, making a joke about "if it was nice we can sit and chat in the garden, or we can sit in the garden room and watch the Belgian rain".
A woman we are having problems with sent around a very nasty email saying my invitation was "offensive to our members and I should not have mentioned rain".
It's raining, it rains a lot here, some folk need to get a life.

My husband is away on a bike tour(not raining where he is) and I am glad it's rained nearly every day since he left. It means I don't have to water the garden.

We are going on a day trip to Richmond on Wednesday, the weather forecast is terrible. We've considered cancelling it, but we've already paid. We are going on the trip, but prepared with raincoats and umbrellas.
We are never lucky with the weather. We once went on a day trip from Newcastle airport to Amsterdam to visit the Floriad (sp) festival. The heavens opened, there was a tremendous thunderstorm and we went back to the airport early, had something to eat and caught our flight home.

It's beautiful here today, blue sky and sunshine! But we have had three days of rain, so it's a welcome respite - and I think the rain is coming back tomorrow sad

We've had virtually non stop rain since last Thursday, today we woke up to glorious blue skies, but, now the skies are darkening, so the rain will resume any moment. (South Wales)
