I don't know if anybody else watched the programme last night about council housing swaps-it was actually very interesting. One extremely 'posh' lady who was living in Northolt arranged to go and view a property occupied by a black lady. From the moment the door opened it was obvious that this meeting wasn't going to go well ... posh lady was very critical and then in a 'and what do yoooou dooooo' voice asked the other woman where she came from, obviously expecting her to have migrated from the colonies! In a very calm voice, but with a look that could have buried her, the other woman replied, "I'm from Lewisham." Nearly fell off settee laughing, posh lady really did need put down.
