How do you spend your evenings?

Well that's what I do! I can't pretend to do anything much more than that each evening. I've always been a marked lark ie the life and soul first thing in the morning but run out of steam by evening. Its a joke with family and friends that it's no use asking me on a night out! TV suits me fine.

All sorts of things. Watch telly if interested. Listen to the radio. Read or potter in the garden if weather permits. Do some sewing/ craftwork. Attend various clubs or classes. Visit a friend. Go out with DH. Baby sit. Can't image just sitting all evening watching the box.

We watch tv, read, or go for a walk, weather permitting. I often crochet but at present I have no wool, so here I am browsing Gransnet. ?

If we are in, we watch either current TV or something we've recorded after we've eaten dinner - usually 7.30 or so. When I say watch TV, we are often reading the papers/doing the crossword or talking.

I do like to watch what I've recorded on the TV, I rarely watch live TV . I also like to read, knit, or listen to music. I generally will ring a friend in the evening or spend the evening with one of my daughters. I only have a few pots on a balcony so don't have a proper garden to tend but water them every night.

With the summer here, we often go out for a walk after tea, or I will sit in the conservatory and read, listen to music or browse the iPad. We rarely watch TV much before nine o'clock - sometimes not at all. Then we complain about all the stuff we have cluttering up the hard drive waiting to be watched!

In the summer, if we get the occasional nice evening, I like to potter about in the garden. I could be out there until about 9 pm if its not cold or wet. I would maybe then watch about an hour of TV. Some evenings I spend quite a bit of time on my tablet or laptop, on the light nights I might do a few jobs in the house if I've been out and about. So depends on the weather/time if year. Oh, also have a friend I ring most evenings sometimes it's about half an hour.

newquay the same as you if we are in. This time of year we may go out for a walk.
Otherwise sometimes the theatre, sometimes eat out, sometimes friends, sometimes children visit .
In the autumn i may go to evening classes

OP recently said she only watched TV about once a week. DH and I watch most evenings-either something that's on or that we've recorded. We must watch a few hours most evenings. Usually we're glad to put our feet up after a busy day.
What do others do then?
