Beware Gransnetters - if you are thinking of signing up for 'Sky Q'; the latest development from Sky, then be warned. We have paid to have this installed and it has several serious faults.

Many programmes we record to watch later cannot be wound forward or back, and once you have watched two segments and endured ALL the ads, as you can't wind forward, suddenly segment two of the programme appears again. We have deleted several programmes, and of course complained to Sky, who are 'aware', and tell us that they have over a million customers and have had this problem since March.

We were sold this package in April with no warning - of course - and although we have told them that they have missold a package that does not work and how about we start paying when it does, this has not met with any useful response, other than that our opinions are being registered as a formal complaint.

Try "Ask Jessica" in the DT or other financial pages but take every step to resolve it your self first.
She achieves good results when all else fails. We are Sky customers but have a basic package.

Thanks annsixty - I just wanted people to be aware as it is VERY naughty to enter into a contract with a customer knowing that the goods are 'not fit for purpose' and you have no idea when they will be..but you will continue to take the money every month.

We ditched sky completely several months ago - but they do not seem to believe us, judging by the endless communications from them - all ignored of course.
