I'm like that too when I'm ill Tippy, hate to be fussed over. There is a difference though between fuss and a little TLC.
Hope you feel better soon. flowers

Thank you for all your good wishes and offers of cake and wine. A hot toddy sounds good too.

We all like to be 'looked in at ' by somebody when we are ill, and asked if we need anything. You need to have a word in his ear ( but don't yell........it won't do your throat any good grin Get well soon Tippy

At regular intervals, but not too often.

I think he should have just brought you one anyway, without a word, and if you didn't drink it take it away again after half an hour or so.

That's what I'd like, anyway.

I've been stuck in bed for the last couple of days with a heavy cold/flu and my DH of 38 years knows that when I'm ill I just like to be by myself and wallow in my own misery as I'm such a grouch when ill. So why am I miffed that he hasn't even asked if I'd like a cup of tea.
