Pigeons causing problems

They are probably attracted by the bird food you put out for the robins. Do you have a bird feeder on the patio? I can only suggest moving the feeding place. When DH feeds the birds here, we get jackdaws, crows and collared doves who frighten away the little birds.
PS. We don't feed the birds during the breeding season, as nestlings can choke on the seeds.

I have loads of pigeons and get pigeon poo as they nest in my eves and plop down to the side of the front door but I think it's all part of sharing our world with the wildlife, they were here before me, apart from nappies can't think of a reasonable answer so I leave them be

bluebell that would be my usual approach, but living in London, these pigeons are like "rats with wings". Many seem to be diseased.

I am going to try a water pistol, and/or moving the food.

We have a couple of wood pigeons that hoover up all the food the little birds (mostly sparrows) chuck all over the grass. The only upside is they are getting so fat that I hope eventually they won't be able to get on the conservatory roof, which they are making a sh***y mess of.

Yes a water pistol good idea and get those spikes put up on roof edges to stop the blighters nesting. Horrible things. . . . .
