I, Robot!

You get those verification codes on lots of sites like banks etc its usually a difficult to read series of letters/numbers and I always give up as I get them wrong all the time so I must be a robot I guess..

I always have problems reading the text too, very frustrating. Maybe we are all robots.

You may also be asked to tick a selection of pictures, picking out the ones that show water, or trees, road signs or shop fronts. It's quite usual. And will probably become more usual in future. Until the bots get the hang of it and they have to find something else that only humans can do.
