I think they have three piles....one for should be done fast so we'll take 4 weeks, one for should be done fast so we'll take 6 weeks and it's my birthday/I'm feeling happy so I'll give someone a lovely surprise with a quick turn around. Needless to say the 4 and 6 week urgent piles are huge and the nice surprise pile is tiny grin

No, not of a grandchild but my passport! Sent mine off last Thursday for renewal and was amazed when the new one appeared today, a mere 4 working days later. Obviously it's not peak time, and it wasn't fast-tracked as I'm in no hurry for it, just thought I'd get it done before our big trip down under next Feb, as the old one would have run out mid-tip. Praise for the Post Office for a change, instead of a moan. wink
