Everything has turned out brilliantly

My DD became pregnant at 15 and gave birth to my first grandson at 16, her then boyfriend didn't want to know and broke up with her, denying that the baby was his. She coped just fine and finished her schooling. When my grandson was 11 months old and DD was 17 she met someone else the same age as herself, they moved in together not long after, I was a bit worried, but decided she new best and that we are here if she ever needed us. Fast forward 12 years, they are still together and have added to their family, they are now the proud parents of 5, which includes a set of twins. The oldest grandson is now fast approaching his 13th birthday and DD's partner is as far as he is concerned, his dad. They go off and do father/son activities together, I'm so proud of how things have worked out. DD and her partner are both getting near to their 30th birthdays, they have been engaged for a few years, but far too busy for marriage, I'm hoping that maybe, soon they will be able to give me a date
