I was using Vitapointe until a year ago, now I can`t find it anywhere. If it`s been discontinued it`s only recently.

Vitapoint was a kind of cream if I remember correctly.
My hair has gone very dry lately, Vitapoint would revive it.
I wonder if they still make it. I have tried a little Argan Oil but that's best put on then washed off otherwise it goes quite greasy.

Yes! I remember Viatpointe Ginny, it was good stuff too! Now that my hair resembles wire wool I could use some!

I remember Minadex. Anyone recall Vitapoint(e). ? It was a sort of gel that you put on your hands and rubbed through your hair for shine I relieve. A forerunner of today's hair styling gels perhaps.

I remember giving mine Minadex, our GP recommended it when I was worried about my daughter being exhausted when she started school. I remember having rose hip syrup as a child, I loved it but didn't much like the Syrup of Figs that my mum dished out on a eeekly basis!

Hmm Metatone, no I think the one I used to buy was Minadex, but I do recall Metatone. Don't need either these days to be honest, my appetite needs suppressing, not building up! More in need of PLJ these days!

Do young mums give their babies Rose Hip Syrup, I wonder? That was all the rage 40 years ago too.

Was that Minadex, Chewbacca? My mum used to give it to us. Also vile Scotts Emulsion and cod liver oil & malt was another. Yuk! She also gave us Parrishes Food, which was to stimulate the appetite. It had some sort of poison in It!

I remember something called Isogel for constipation, it was granules dissolved into a gel and disgusting.

When my DC were small, I used to give them some kind of tonic. Orange flavour, in a brown bottle. Can't remember the name now. It was supposed to "build them up and encourage a healthy appetite ". Anyone else remember this?

That's what we were laughing about. I don't think many 40 year olds would need "fortifying" these days. How times change.

Do you remember PLJ, the drink that was supposed to help you lose weight? Never worked for me!

I suffered from constipation as a child, and I was dosed with a nice tasting, white,yoghurt-like medicine called something like Petrolager ?

For my 40th birthday many many moons ago one "friend" bought me a bottle of Phyllis and because "it fortifies the over 40's"! Maybe 40 years olds are fortified enough these days,

And Sanatogen tonic wine !
