I was just reading the forum about remembering things from long ago better than recent things.
It was mainly about words, but this thread has brought back so many memories of taste and smell. I just read the post about meggazones, and immediately had the taste in my mouth....and senna tea...and horlicks tablets...and the smell of friars balsam....all so vivid!
