I learnt a new word today!

Love all these responses, I seemed to have got it wrong, oh well, I prefer Ear Candy, Ear Worm (sounds gross)! Didn't know it originated in Germany, interesting. As for Eye Candy well that's another thread lol! Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

I would describe it as an ear worm. There is a thread on the Active page with that title.
Eye candy for me would be Mark Harmon or George Cluney

Eye candy I have heard, Rupert Sewell springs to mind.

There's also Eye Candy which sounds more fun.

I think the phrase is Ear Worm and stems from the German use of Ohrwurm. It refers to a tune that has wormed its way into your brain and keeps going round and round unbidden.

I think Ear Candy is something different: light popular music that is pleasant and entertaining but intellectually undemanding.
